Spatha’s Hybrid Concealed Carry Licensing Course is a combination of both online learning via our online school and live classroom instruction culminating in a live-fire qualification at a firing range.  Purchasing this item will register you for our online class and you will receive an email with your password and login name.  By completing our online course, you will be eligible to then register for one of our live classroom and live-fire range qualifications.  The legal requirement for this course is 15 hours; we’ve split this time up between an online course full of video presentations, review packages, and quizzes and around 8 hours of classroom and live-fire gun range instruction.  The online portion can be completed with most computers, smart phones, or tablets.

Gear Requirements For Range Qualification

  • Handgun of at least .32 or higher caliber
  • 50 rounds of factory new ammunition in original box
  • Holster for handguns you are qualifying with
  • Eye and Ear protection
  • Hat and seasonaly appropriate clothing
  • Water and snacks

Live Classroom Essentials

  • Completion of Spatha hybrid online course
  • NM driver’s license or other gov’t issued ID
  • Possess legal ability to apply for license

Live-Fire Qualification Requirements

  • Demonstrate competence and safety in handling a handgun
  • Complete 25 round live-fire qualification with a 72% or higher accuracy score
  • Possess legal ability to apply for license

PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

This class is a licensing and qualification course for a New Mexico Concealed Carry License. This course includes both online and live classroom and live fire requirements. The student will have to complete at least 15 hours of instruction, exercises, and live-fire shooting before being eligible to apply for a concealed carry license with the New Mexico Department of Public Safety. You will not be able to attend any of the live classroom portions or shooting qualification until you have successfully completed the online portion. Refunds will not be given to students who access the online portion of the class unless there is a technical reason stopping the student from completing it.
